Tuesday – Thursday 08:30 – 12:30 with nurse Lynn, and supported by Amanda and Debbie.
This clinic is for patients once they have been stabilized by the hospital and they would like to attend the clinic at the surgery.
Patients aged 16 and over but under 75 and who have not consulted with a clinician for 3 years are welcome to make an appointment with the nurse for a health check.
We have baby clinics run by nurses and doctors every Wednesday between 10:00 – 12:00.
We have an in house counsellor Nina who is available to see patients on the NHS. For more information please speak to Lynda Willcocks at the surgery.
New Hayesbank Eye Clinic at Ashford is a community-based outpatient clinic, bringing expert eye care closer to patients’ homes.
Family Planning Clinics
Emergency post-coital contraception is available from Drs Ruaux, Rashid and Slater. If you require this service please ensure you make an appointment within 72 hours. Emergency contraception is not available from Dr Hussain. Dr Stanley, Dr Hussain and Dr Slater do not do referrals for termination of pregnancy.
In conjunction with the Health Promotion Unit, Healthwalks take place Wednesday mornings at 09:30 for a 09:45 start from the surgery. The local walks are led by volunteer leaders and last for about one hour. There is no need to book. Just turn up on the day for a friendly welcome.
Influenza Vaccine Clinic
These are normally held on Saturday mornings starting late September. We will display notices as soon as appointments are available. You can also make an appointment for the practice nurse to administer the vaccine in normal surgery hours if you cannot get to the Saturday clinics.
It is particularly important that the following high-risk groups have the flu vaccination:
- Past history of stroke
- Immunosuppression including those patients on high dose steroids
- Those with heart and chest disease
- Kidney disease
- Over 65’s
The practice offers Pre-employment full medicals with report.

Minor operations are performed at the surgery by Dr Stanley and Dr Sadia Rashid. These are by appointment only after consultation with a doctor.
Young Persons Clinic
Appointments are available for young people aged 18 and under to offer free confidential advice concerning relationships, how to stop smoking, safer sex advice and contraceptive advice from our nursing team. You are welcome to bring along a friend, partner or parents.
